Geoffrey Calkins, Hearing Aid Dispenser, Lic. #HA2791. Geoff is Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences. Geoff  has provided hearing aid services at Advanced Instruments since 1989.  He was born and grew up in the Napa Valley helping his father, a General Contractor, build custom homes. 

He earned a B.S. Degree in Industrial Education from Walla Walla College and an M.A. in Education from Eastern Michigan University, followed by a teaching and administrative career.  Geoff has always been very interested in how technology improves the quaility of individuals' lives.  

People who know him, will tell you that he can repair just about anything. Intrigued by the electronics that supported hearing devices, he decided to transition into the hearing aid industry. For over thirty years, he continues to enjoy working with people and finding the best solutions for their hearing needs.  Geoff is also very involved with the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board in their examinations for licensing.

Jessica Cimolino, Hearing Aid Dispenser, Lic. #HA7935 has been in the hearing field since 2012. Jessica joined Advanced Instruments in October 2022 but got her start in Mendocino and helped individuals pursue better hearing throughout Mendocino, Santa Rosa, and Marin counties. She grew up in Fort Bragg where she enjoyed the outdoors, photography, travel, time with friends and family, as well as attending live music concerts.

Jessica earned a B.S. Degree in Pre-Occupational Therapy with a minor in Psychology, became a California licensed hearing aid dispenser in February of 2015, and is Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences. She has always been very interested in the interaction and balance of physical, emotional, and mental well-being. She also took a special interest in how technology can potentially improve quality of life. She strives to stay up on the latest regarding a whole-person approach to better hearing and understanding, in this effort she attends regular trainings and networks continually to find best practice processes.
